Feighner Insurance Inc. DBA Insurance Management has operated for over 100 years with the philosophy of being the best we can be in our field of insurance and risk management. We are engaged only in the insurance business and endeavor to represent financially sound and ably managed insurance companies and service providers.

Feighner Insurance can trace its roots back for over 100 years when the agency was founded in 1875 by the uncle of J.A. Searles. The modern era of the agency began in 1946 when Jack Feighner purchased 50% of the Searles agency. Searles retired in 1953 and Jack Feighner purchased the remaining 50% and incorporated the agency in 1954 as Feighner Insurance Inc. The agency has accomplished the purchase of several Grant County agencies and now operates the largest independent insurance agency in Grant County. With the addition of our Indianapolis and Peru offices we have not only expanded our marketing area, but we have add some of the most respected insurance professionals to our organization.

We intend to provide an excellent business atmosphere for our employees with all employees required to be licensed insurance professionals. By necessity of location, we are insurance generalists attempting to write both personal and commercial accounts that will be profitable.
